OUR CLUB’S HISTORY

The Club was organized in January of 1947 under the name, Women of Kiwanis (wives of Kiwanis Club members).  In 1988, the Club voted to include women other than Kiwanis wives in order to enhance and increase its membership.  The Rochester Chapter is the oldest and only Genetaska Club in existence.  Currently, we have over 100 members.

Genetaska means “helping hands.”  Our purpose is to help serve those in need in our community.  Our warm fellowship, resolute purpose and dedication have brought about many outstanding accomplishments.
