APRIL CARD PARTY AND LUNCH TO SUPPORT Big Brothers and Big Sisters
Card party registration available in the Newsletter or at the February and March Meetings
Date: Wednesday, April 15, 2026. Register by April 1.
Where: Chef’s Catering 1875 N Union St Spencerport 14559
Cost: $50
Menu and Time:
10:00AM: Muffins, danish, scones, coffee/tea
12:00PM: Buffet lunch with Rotisserie style chicken, roasted veggies, risotto, baked pasta marinara, cookies. Family style house salad, artisan rolls and whipped butter. Soft drinks, juices, ice water, coffee and hot tea.
3:00PM: End
Big Brothers and Big Sisters is a youth mentoring organization committed to empowering young people through long-term one- to-one relationships that ignite potential & create brighter futures. It helps local youth achieve success in school, in life, & in their communities.
We still need gift cards and baskets for the card event so please plan to give them as soon as possible since baskets take time to put together. The venue is LARGE so be sure to invite all your friends and neighbors!
March Lunch to Support the Sleep in Heavenly Peace Organization

Menu:
Appetizers: Artisan Sliced Cheese with Pepperoni & Crackers
Luncheon buffet: Fresh Mixed Green Salad with two dressings, Rolls & Condiments,
Chicken French, Eggplant Parmesan, Herb Roasted Potato, Fresh Vegetable Medley
Dessert: Ice Cream Sundae Bar with toppings, Brownies and Cookies
Time:
Seating and raffle ticket sales at 11:00, meeting at 11:30 and luncheon at Noon
Bring:
Canned goods will be collected for various charities
Sleep in Heavenly Peace is a national non-profit that builds and delivers beds to kids who don’t have beds. Since the Rochester chapter began in 2019, over 1,400 beds have been delivered to local kids who don’t have beds. Donna Ritchie, Chapter President will be our guest for the March luncheon.

Needed items are bed-in-a-bag sets, pillows, and comforters. (At this time, we do not need sheets.)

Items can be homemade (quilts, crocheted blankets, fleece tie blankets) but they cannot be used.

Angels of Mercy Dress a Girl
Bring your sewing machine to help make dresses for little girls in the US and around the world. If you don't sew, there are other opportunities such as ironing labels, folding the dresses and making stuffed animals
