Menu: Judy Kruger is happy to announce this new location at an affordable price! The varied menu sounds delicious with many choices: Chicken Marsala, Eggplant Parmesan (Vegetarian), Penne Pasta with a blush sauce served on the side, Beans and Greens, Broccoli/Cheddar Salad, Caesar Salad, Dinner Rolls/butter. They also provide an assortment of cookies and Blood Orange Brownie Bites. Coffee, Water and Hot Tea will be available. We can all look

Program/ Speaker: Sue Flanigan has arranged for an interesting speaker. Jim Farr will talk about the Public Market. This Rochester City run market has served our community at its 280 North Union Street site since 1905. He will explain about their special events and weekly shopping opportunities.

 

Monthly Charity: Carolyn Tudor is our member who suggested Patrick Place as a local charity for us to support. Angela White is our contact and presents them as our May charity. Patrick Place is a Comfort Care Home located at 2006 Scottsville-Chili Road, in Scottsville. This is a two-bedroom home providing care at no cost serving people in the final stages of life. Their large number of volunteers make it possible to support the terminally ill in a comfortable home setting.
Family members are able to spend time with their loved ones in a peaceful setting.

 

Charity’s Wish List: Patrick Hanley, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, will join us. The following items are suggested:

• paper towels

• toilet paper

• wash cloths,

• coffee/tea pods and creamer (a variety),

• hand and dish soap, any type of cleaning product. Non-perishable foods like applesauce (No glass items please.)

• copy paper

• pudding, cereals etc.

• gift cards to Amazon, Wegmans or Aldi’s are also needed.
